What we collect, where it is kept, and who can see it
We collect as little as possible. The free pages and the free check work without an account. The check runs in your browser; your six answers are not sent to us.
Where it is kept and who can see it
The site is served by Cloudflare. Account records and saved state are stored in Supabase, in the Sydney region. Payments are processed by Stripe. Transactional email is sent by SendGrid. Those four providers are the only processors. We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising.
What we collect
- If you buy: the email address you pay with, the plan, the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and the receipt date. We do not see your card number.
- If you sign in: your email address and a session cookie. The session lasts 90 days unless you sign out.
- If you use the free check: nothing leaves the browser. There is no server-side record of your answers.
- If you email us: your message and address, kept to answer you and for the record.
Cookies
One anonymous identifier cookie lets a pre-signup visit join a later account. One session cookie keeps you signed in. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout domain. There is no advertising or analytics cookie on this site.
How long we keep it
Account and purchase records are kept while the account is open and for seven years after the last transaction, for tax and warranty records. Support email is kept for two years. A request to delete is actioned within 30 days, except where a record must be kept by law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy, a correction or a deletion of your personal data. Email support@theartofservice.com. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in Australia, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security and contact
Access is limited to the service role and to the publisher. We use HTTPS everywhere and we do not store card data. For a privacy question or a security report, email the address above with the subject line Privacy or Security.
