About
Who publishes this, and why
ISO 18033-7 Revision Checker is published by The Art of Service, a compliance publisher in Brisbane, Australia. It is written by Gerard Blokdyk and built from the public ISO record and the ISO public preview of the base standard.
What this site is for
A CISO, an ISMS manager or a certifying consultant needs to know whether a draft amendment to a cipher standard touches the organisation, what evidence to keep and by when. Most revision pages answer with a summary that cannot be checked. This one answers with the record, the clause, the text status and the date, and it says plainly where the amendment is silent.
What it is not
It is not affiliated with ISO or the IEC. Those bodies have not endorsed it or approved it. It does not reproduce the standard, does not certify an organisation, does not test an implementation and does not give legal advice. The official text is linked on every page.
Editorial method
Every requirement is written in our own words from a public source and cited to its clause. A public preview is available for the base standard; the amendment has no public body, so no clause of it is stated. Names, titles, defined terms and data element names are the only things kept verbatim. The method page sets out the tests.
