What will trigger a reissue
- A stage change on the amendment record, for example 40.60 to 40.92.
- A change to the stage date, page count, edition or price.
- Publication of the amendment body, which will add clause-level changes.
- A change to the base standard or its ISO public preview.
- A correction to a statement on this site, with its citation.
- The annual review, or an earlier review if a stage moves.
How a reissue reaches a buyer
Kit buyers are emailed the reissued files at the address they paid with. The watch subscriber gets the change alert. The free pages show the new record and the new hash. The old hash stays in this changelog so a printed copy can be matched to the record it was built from.
